Researches and analyzes information for assigned projects. Prepares ad hoc reports for Quality Improvement activities. Uses PDCA to facilitate QualityFirst Activities.Coordinates studies for proposed projects and other department assignments with appropriate documentation and support.Identifies data sources, coordinates and accumulates data and information for assigned projects.Works with physicians, clinicians and other staff members to gather and input data for outcomes studies.Analyzes and reviews data from internal and external sources, and prepares summaries of data for executive level decision makers, for planning purposes.Coordinates studies for proposed projects and other department assignments with appropriate documentation and support. Provides analytical and technical expertise for data collection and reporting. Statistical and financial analysis of decision support data. Use of appropriate statistical tools for validation of data. Proactively provides support to meet explicit and implied quality reporting needs of internal and externalcustomers. Recommends enhancements to existing systems in accordance to business needs by creating ad hoc and standard reports as well as new information delivery technologies.Manages and fulfills a variety of project requests in the areas of quality and regulatory reporting. Maintains physician profiles for reappointment for Focused Profession Practice Evaluation and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation.Assists in the HEDIS data collection process, analyzing trends, and identifying areas of improvement.Assures the accuracy and integrity of all data and collection process.Facilitates groups/teams as assigned.Coordinates data abstraction and submission for accreditation and regulatory agencies as required.Assist with accreditation and regulatory reviews and visits as assigned. Assists other members of the department with their assignments as required. Serves as a resource and internal consultant for The Joint Commission and publicly reported activities.

Bachelor's degree in management, business, statistics, finance or related field required. At least 2 years of related healthcare experience required. Master's degree in management, business, or healthcare administration preferred.3-5 years of experience collecting, analyzing and presenting data and recommendations preferred. Strong statistical,analytical, and quantitative skills, high degree of precision and attention to detail required. Experience in healthcare environment preferred with proficiency in medical terminology.
