JOB PURPOSE: Member of the Norcross Facility Technical Staff reporting to the Quality Manager. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Norcross Facilities’ Quality

Management System and its compliance to ISO-9001. Actively communicates and participates in

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent degree and/or experience.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Five years developing and maintaining an ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management System
• Five years in manufacturing environment

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

• Internal Quality Auditor certification
• Strong hands-on experience with problem-solving and related tools
  Six Sigma Black Belt Training

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This role supports fast paced operations and is expected to be able to assess risk and impact

on the facility for all types of nonconformities (supplier, customer complaints, internal process

deviations or product defects) and drive the impacted cross-functional partners (includes

operations, engineering) to develop needed solutions. Included in the expectation is to be able

to know when to escalate to ensure cross-functional teams can mitigate any high risks on time.

• Day to day operation of the Quality Management System which includes ensuring the right

metrics are in place to oversee the QMS performance and the monitoring results are tracked to

determine whether improvements need to be made.

• Engage in best practices of change management when implementing or reviewing

implementation of a new process or changes to a process.

• Support the internal quality audit program; help finalize the internal audit plan and work closely

• Lead raw material control program including supply quality control and improvement
• Maintain equipment calibration program
• Maintain internal and external documentation control program
• Use various quality tools and perform root cause analysis to solve problems.
• Lead/Support periodic quality system review meeting
• Support 3rd party quality audits
• Other quality functions as determined by customer or business

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• ISO 9001 Quality Management System Requirements
• Internal quality audit techniques
• Effective communicator (verbal and written)
• Self-motivated, independent worker, strong time management skills
• Working knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques; DOE (Design of Experiments),

Pareto charts, ANOVA, Trend charts, Variability charts

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams using collaborative tools such as web based meeting

management, action plans, process maps that can quickly and clearly illustrate the problem that

needs to be solved or process that needs to be improved.
