Position Description: As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

• Performing inspection activities such as first article, in-process (Work-In-Process), guidelines and conformance criteria, work instructions, drawings and product (raw material, components, and sub-assemblies)
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings, shop order operations and shop order process controls
• Inspecting product and materials in accordance with engineering drawings, SOPs and work instructions
• Utilizing technical measuring devices to determine product conformance
• Generating NCIRs for corrective action and disposition of product
• Using ERP software to document and maintain accurate records of inspection results
• Coordinating, liaising, and participating with internal teams to ensure production/engineering requirements are met
• Organizing and preparing shop orders and service orders for record retention

Position Requirements: This position requires the following skills and attributes:

• Minimum of 2 years in working with quality management systems such as ISO 9001
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Analytical, meticulous and detail oriented
• Effective oral and written communication/presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
• Skill with the use of tools and equipment needed to complete inspections

Benefits: The base compensation range for this role is $18 - $23 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
