Job Specific Duties/Qualifications

• Supervise Quality Engineers and Inspection staff (5-10 staff Members)
  • Set priorities for Inspection staff
• Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives
• Ability to interpret FAI requirements and implement cutting edge inspection such as control plans and Key Characteristics
• Ability to write and enforce all quality procedures and working in an ISO 9001 environment with copy exact programs
• POC for Site ISO Certification to include internal and External third-party audits and remediation of audit findings
• POC for Customer Audits
• Responsible for IQC Backlog, Non-Conformances and RCCA’s
• Responsible for Conducting MRB meetings and identifying RCCA to prevent re-occurrence
• Computer literate
• Responsible for site Safety program and EHS
• Effective communications both written and oral
• Work in a 6S environment
• Strong Collaboration skills
• Familiar with CMM’s, Open set-up inspection and Electronics
• Ability to read and understand the following:
  • Blue prints
  • Zygo specifications
  • GD&T
  • Special process instructions
  • Inspection check lists
  • Sampling Plans
  • MIL Standards
• This position reports to the Vice President of Quality with complete oversight of Quality, Safety and EHS for the given site

Education/Physical Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Quality Manager
• BS degree in Engineering Discipline
• Lean Manufacturing and 6Sigma Blackbelt/Greenbelt a plus
• CQE CQM a Plus
