responsibilities:

The quality manager will participate in the management of the quality system to ensure customer satisfaction while improving process measurables

• The quality manager will work closely with all departments to ensure continuous improvement and conformity to customer requirements

• Maintain oversight of corporate quality complaints/findings (internal &external), direct Quality staff in the investigation and resolution of non-conformances, ensure proper visibility and reporting of issues, and participate in CAPA activities to address product issues

• Manages and directs all quality department personnel

• Functions in conjunction with the sales department for customer liaison and supplier development activities

• Monitors process controls and performance and evaluates recommendations for process and equipment adjustments or changes

• Monitors tooling performance and casting dimensional capabilities and evaluates recommendations for placement, repair or modification of tooling and related equipment

• Monitors product/material evaluations and procedural or process control measures to ensure that all products conform to customer specifications

• Manages, organizes and verifies the quality system

• Develops and implements inspection and sampling techniques and quality control plans

• Conducts investigations on product defects and recommends modifications in product or quality standards as warranted

• Visits customers and suppliers when necessary to confer on quality issues

• Maintains the corrective action system, both internal and external
