Akerman LLP, a top 100 U.S. law firm serving clients across the Americas, is seeking a Paralegal to support the Real Estate Practice Group in our Ft. Lauderdale office. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication skills, and possess a strong work ethic. The position requires experience in handling and overseeing real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions and financing transactions. Candidate must have significant experience and familiarity with title insurance, surveys and general real estate diligence. The position will require the candidate to work with transactional lawyers in complex commercial real estate acquisitions and financings, diligence projects, and general real estate support.

We require a minimum of five (5) years of real estate paralegal experience. Ideal candidate must be able to work effectively and efficiently with attorneys, clients, lenders and outside organizations, and be able to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
