Job description
We are looking to hire a part time receptionist(Monday-Friday) for an orthodontic office in Amesbury, MA. The office uses Mac computers and specialized orthodontic software. We will provide training for the orthodontic specific software. Experience is nice but we are more interested in someone with strong interpersonal skills.
Starting pay is entry level, plus bonuses for meeting specific office and individual goals. In general, we are looking to create a positive environment for patients and staff alike.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Managing appointment scheduling
- Checking patients in and out
- Submitting and processing insurance claims
- Collecting payments
- Screening new patients
- Answering phones
- Triage minor emergencies and basic questions patients may have regarding their orthodontics
- Daily housekeeping duties split with the assisting staff
- Confirming appointments
- Making courtesy calls to new patients
- Sending and receive consults with other dental offices
- Assisting the doctor with any other office projects as required.
