Edge Logistics is a Chicago-based freight brokerage company founded in 2014 in the back of a double wide trailer in a parking lot along the banks of East River in Brooklyn, NY. What was once a 5-person team has now become a technology driven and forward thinking organization with offices in Chicago, Detroit, Colombia South America, and now Phoenix!

We are looking for an organized, professional, and competent individual to work as a part time receptionist in our brand new Chicago office.

Responsibilities

• Must be available to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8-4 PM
• Welcome visitors in a warm manner and answer visitor questions
• Organize office and company events
• Take inventory of office and kitchen supplies and restock as needed
• Maintain reception area, employee break rooms, conference rooms, and arcade room

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education development (GED) required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be detail oriented and have exceptional organizational skills
