Koolrite Refrigeration, is a small family owned and run company in the Antelope Valley servicing, Los Angeles County. We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team to provide high quality preventative maintenance, repairs and installation services to our customers.

This position will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment. The successful candidate will have knowledge of refrigeration systems and experience with the inspection, maintenance, repair, leak search and troubleshooting of commercial refrigerations systems. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose cooling system malfunctions on refrigerators, Walk-in freezers, Ice Machines, Make tables, Prep tables, Retarder and other cooling units.
• Inspect and perform equipment repair and replacements.
• Observe safety precautions when working with refrigerants and other chemicals.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration units used in commercial kitchens.
• General/Preventative Maintenance
• Provides emergency service ona 24 hour, on-call basis

Refrigeration Technician Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License required
• EPA Certification
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen required
• Basic Knowledge of HVAC commercial Refrigeration
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds/and confident working with heights.
• A Self-Starter that can work independently as well as work with a team.
• Accurately complete the necessary documents/Paperwork in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• HVAC: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Preferred)
