In this business development role you will be responsible for seeking out new business opportunities for the organization by developing, coordinating and implementing marketing and sales plans designed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities. The Regional Account Executive will identify new business opportunities by securing, managing, growing, and maintaining business relationships with local, regional and national employer accounts leading to new revenue growth and expanded market share. The Regional Account Executive is tasked with meeting sales objectives in accordance with WellNow Urgent Care policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations. While planning and executing a coordinated sales effort in the assigned territory, the Regional Account Executive will prioritize efforts and target employers seeking occupational health services.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic marketing and sales planning with top executives; set objectives and methods to reach them.
  • Close new business by developing and negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Work with other department heads and staff to coordinate account setup and implement service delivery.
  • Develop proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Deliver sales presentations and participate in meetings with clients and external vendors or advisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, appointments, closed sales, and follow-up activity within assigned territory using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool
  • Identify sales targets and leads, develop a sales funnel with expected outcomes of closing the leads and secure the targeted business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute individual account sales plans to secure new customer prospects daily.
  • Meet minimum monthly revenue goals established by Senior Management.
  • Solicit appropriate approvals on Pricing/Margin targets across multiple disciplines.
  • Work with Leadership Team and include in necessary periodic meetings with Key Account decision makers and personnel.
  • Develop new account implementation strategies across multiple disciplines as needed.
  • Coordinate the “set-up” of an organization’s service offering (Service Package) and ensure customer on-boarding and implementation is a smooth business transition.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry partners, payors, adjuster teams, case management groups, provider networks (Primary Care, Specialist, PT), etc.
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of demonstrated sales and business development experience preferably in an Occupational or Employee health related field
  • Demonstrated general knowledge of care delivery, billing, case management, and state regulation standards within the Occupational Healthcare Industry
  • Ability to perform complex negotiations – which includes dealing with senior executives and multiple decision makers in large diverse organizations.
  • Ability to articulate effectively and in a concise manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
  • Skill in organizing and establishing priorities.
  • Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
  • Basic financial analysis and visit trend review skills
  • Demonstrated personal computer skills using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Must have at time of hire and maintain throughout employment a valid Driver’s license.
  • Ability to work additional hours on a regular basis, including nights and weekends.
  • Significant travel within region required
  • Diligent in documenting daily activities to a CRM program (calls, meetings, tasks)
This position will report to the Director of Sales and the territory includes the Chicago land south and west suburbs
