The Role

Could you be our next Regional Category Manager? This is a hybrid opportunity at our Holly Springs NC location. You will report to the Global Director of Procurement-Construction and Engineering Services.

As a successful Regional Category Manager, you manage the Regional Capex, MRO, Logistics and Facilities management categories. With this, you are responsible for the development across CSL Seqirus Holly Springs, NC site for the allocated categories and region to ensure best value for CSL while managing risk and maintaining compliance in sourcing practices. Also, you will be support and building projects within US region on time and in budget.

You support regional sourcing or bid activities, lead regional sourcing projects with partners of the CSL Group and with important vendors.

Your skills and experience

• Develop and implement annual action plans for relevant categories based on the Procurement Strategy and other relevant business strategies within CSL Seqirus to ensure clear goals and action plans for Regional Category Management Lead roles resulting in the reduction of the total cost of ownership and risk, while increasing innovation, customer service, compliance, and quality

• Improve value from the regional category(s) by defining and implementing category management strategies; manage Councils for business-critical commodities aligned with the evolving requirements and are leading important sourcing activities, including negotiations, that to deliver lower cost of ownership, lower risk, higher quality, and better supply performance.

• Lead complex business negotiations with major important suppliers and provide advice for regional sourcing.

• You will monitor Supply Performance Goals and conduct regular Operational Reviews following Procurement's Governance processes with supporting reporting from the Centre of Excellence and ensuring any Category Management roles within the team also review and manage Supplier performance to meet agreed standards.

• You will lead employees within the Procurement organization including long-term talent development, succession planning and performance managing with a focus on supporting employees to exceed performance expectations while demonstrating CSL Values

• Build professional relationships with senior, team members and senior external executives within large vendors to deliver upon Procurement's goals.

• Lead Regional transformation projects and continuous improvement plans to ensure the delivery of targeted benefits.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors in Procurement, Engineering or Supply Chain Management or a related field

• 5+ years' experience in strategic sourcing or relevant experience in sourcing equipment and services

• Hire and coach capabilities and lead Regional teams.

• Project management skills with the ability to plan tasks, assign resources, manage progress, remove barriers, manage change, resolve conflict, and motivate team members across multiple projects concurrently.
