If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for an experienced, skilled regional executive chef to manage operations of our restaurant group in the Central NorCal region. Our ideal candidate will possess outstanding culinary skills, superior organization, and the ability to lead and mentor a large staff.

The perfect candidate will have at least five years of experience in multi-unit management, as well as a reputable culinary pedigree. Excellent communication and customer service skills are also a must.

How We Define a Successful Regional:

  • Supports communities by filling Executive Chef vacancies and traveling weekly to maintain a regular presence at all communities in your region.
  • Provides weekly reports on food & labor budgets as well as other powerful pertinent information pertaining to community operations to the VP of Culinary and Director(s) of Culinary.
  • Understands, interprets, and reports on all relevant financial statements including Profit & Loss Statements.
  • Provides oversight to all Executive Chefs in your region to ensure the following:
  • Food and Supply purchases-meet and exceed budgeted targets
  • Culinary Labor budgets meet and exceed budgeted targets
  • Ongoing hiring and training, building a deep bench of strength to support growth
  • Kitchen organization and cleanliness meets and exceeds State statutory standards
  • Ongoing assessment of repairs and maintenance
  • Ongoing development, evaluation of community menus and recipes. Ability to scale recipes to correct volumes, and spot check for errors
  • Planning, implementation, and communication of menu updates with teams and communities
  • Develop and lead training on production standards, equipment, and food safety
  • Continuously develop teams through educational programs and courses to increase business and culinary expertise
  • Support Culinary Leadership training and on-boarding on company processes and standards
  • Maximize the productivity of the Culinary Leaders, and ensure proper training of all culinary teams

Ingredients for a perfect candidate:

  • 10 + years of culinary experience in premium restaurants, hotels, clubs, and luxury communities.
  • 10 + years of kitchen leadership and/or previous experience as a F&B Director, Corporate or Regional Chef, Executive Chef/CDC
  • Multi-location leadership experience required
  • Ability to travel 80%-100% of each week per month required
  • Superior business acumen with demonstrated ability to analyze and impact business results at an organizational as well as “grass roots” level

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
