Job Summary:
The Regional Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing repair and maintenance requests, assisting on the execution of capital projects, and participating in the onboarding and converting new locations whether through acquisition or development. This person is a technically capable of diagnosing and repairing equipment and facilities as needed to keep White Water’s washes open and operating. The lead tech oversees and helps develop the maintenance technicians in his or her region, so they can maintain and support an assigned fleet of locations This person will build and maintain healthy relationships between employees, vendors, and contractors. This position reports directly to the Region Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Travel between all stores in the market planning, overseeing, and performing tunnel repairs and new equipment installs
- Troubleshoots complex equipment problems, and recommends time, equipment, and materials required for repairs; makes and coordinates emergency repairs as required.
- Lead preventive maintenance initiatives with our store-level teammates to keep our stores running at their full potential
- Effectively communicate with the operations team on status of repairs
- Install, troubleshoot, repairs and maintain various building systems – plumbing, mechanical, and electrical
- Ensure all carwash equipment is being properly maintained and remains operational for location within the designated region or markets.
- Exercise independent judgment in tracking problems related to building operations equipment
- Recruit, manage, coordinate, and ensure proper training and development for a team of regional technicians.
- Provides input on supervised staff performance evaluations including matters of discipline and/or commendation
- Coordinate repairs and improvements with outside vendors and internal staff
- Ensure effective use of maintenance tracking and ticketing software
- Provides technical assistance and trains staff in job specific and safe work procedures
- Primary Internal customer contact for issue resolution.
Requirements:
- Highly professional candidate with strong work ethic and integrity
- Ability to work in a face paced highly communicative team environment
- Willing to learn and adapt new processes and procedures
- Experience in plumbing and electrical
- Basic level of understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment repair
- Ability to be available occasionally for after-hours service calls
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Problem solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to perform work with a minimum or no supervision or assistance
- Basic level of understanding of hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic equipment repair
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking while maintaining a high level of organization.
- Minimum of 5 years of work-related experience preferred
- Must be able to recognize, mitigate, and correct unsafe conditions
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Ability to coordinate and communicate with general contractors and vendors as needed
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, other departments’ managers, customers, the public, and technical representatives
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between company locations
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to travel to different markets as needed
- Carwash experience is a plus
- Must complete a pre-hire background check and driving history review
