Registered Nurse - Acute - Emergency Services

• May be eligible for a $10,000 recruitment bonus paid on the first paycheck of employment
• 36 hours/week, Part-time with Full-time benefits, 12 hour shifts 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, Every third weekend/holiday, R-0020167

Marshfield Medical Center - Ladysmith provides the residents and visitors of Rusk County and surrounding communities with outstanding healthcare and a friendly, close-to-home atmosphere. We provide primary care, medical/surgical care, comprehensive surgical services, emergency care, urgent care and our Swing Bed Program for transitional care to meet the needs of the communities we serve. We are excited to announce we will be transitioning to a new facility with scheduled opening at the beginning for 2023.

The Registered Nurse-Acute functions as a vital member of the healthcare team by demonstrating a customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism self-development, and teamwork. The individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. The Registered Nurse-Hospital is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills and make decisions consistent with hospital policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.

Requires:

• Diploma or degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Two years of hospital experience preferred
• Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment, at time of hire preferred
• Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
