Gastro Health is currently seeking a full-time RN Director to join our dynamic team in Blue Ash, OH!

The RN Director is responsible for providing managerial leadership in an endoscopy setting. The RN Director is responsible for the daily operations and is accountable for the quality of nursing care. The position acts in collaboration with other managers within the division and with other division managers within the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plans, directs and evaluates nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy.
  • Maintains documentation and improves services in accordance with written policies and in compliance with various city, state and federal regulatory and

accrediting agencies for the operation of the Endoscopy Center.

  • Provides leadership while demonstrating communication and management skills that assist in the coordination of patient care.
  • Relates effectively with other personnel for continuity of care; maintain satisfactory relations with other, participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures and skills of personnel.
  • Translates the Division's and the Corporation's policies and procedures to employees, patients, family members, medical partners, vendors and

governmental agencies as necessary.

  • Participates in QA activities and benchmark studies.
  • Serves as liaison between physicians and staff.
  • Works in partnership with Human Resources for interviewing, hiring, orientation and training of clinical staff.
  • Responsible for staff wage and salary administration, motivation, corrective action, performance appraisal.
  • Evaluates staff performance/competency and provides opportunities for staff development based on results.
  • Develops and produces accurate and timely reports.

Physical Activities and Requirements:


  • Possesses good physical health, capable of working in a demanding environment.
  • Able to perform the basic functions of the job including extended hours, standing, bending, and stretching with frequent trips to all areas of the Center.
  • Able to lift, and carry supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Possessed manual dexterity, hearing acuity, and visual acuity are important to the performance of the job tasks.
  • Speaks clearly and distinctly to perform extensive communication with other staff member, patients and their families /escorts and physicians.
  • Appears professional at all times.
  • Wears scrub attire as dictated in the Center's dress code.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of Ohio
  • Practicing as a Registered Nurse for a minimum of 3 years preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership competence and preferred 1+ years management experience in a medical setting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in computer applications and their use in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to develop, understand and analyze data for the practice.
  • Occasional driving is required, must have driver's license
  • BLS and ACLS
