Requirements of the Registered Nurse:
- Bachelor's Degree
- New York State Registered Nurse license

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:
- Take medical histories
- Monitor patient’s status
- Administer medication/treatment
- Order, perform and evaluate diagnostic tests
- Advise patients on a healthy lifestyle
- Take patient’s vitals
- Create a “Plan of Care” for each patient with guidance of the physician
