Job Summary:
Come join our diverse Nursing team while providing needed care to patients seeking treatment for mental illness, crisis stabilization, and substance abuse. Working fully remote, the successful candidate will be responsible for intake assessments via zoom/ medically clearing a patient for admissions into our residential crisis facility, medication reconciliation, medication set ups virtually with a staffed crisis stabilization worker (CSW) located on site, and taking calls from CSW’s with inquiries requiring a nurse’s clinical judgement within the RN’s scope of practice .
You will work alongside a treatment team consisting of Medication Management Providers that are on call 24/7, therapists, RN Health Educator, Integrated Medication Assistance Treatment Nurse, care coordinators, case management, and support staff.

Current opening is a per diem, fully remote position, but successful candidate must be physically located in one of the main office site towns including Kalispell, Hamilton, Butte, Bozeman and Missoula
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Montana
- Training or experience in community based psychiatric treatment of individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness
- Current and comprehensive knowledge of psychotropic medications and best nursing practices, an understanding of crisis intervention and the use of services as alternatives to in-hospital care
- Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.
- Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.
- Montana Driver’s License with good driving record
