Remote Member Services Associate (Customer Service)

Confidential Company, a rapidly expanding Consulting and Full-Service Claims and Medical Case Management Company, has an immediate opening for a self-motivated, detail oriented professional to provide high quality service to both internal and external customers, delivering an easy and efficient customer experience for significant complex claims and catastrophic losses.

This position is remote working from a home office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides a streamlined claim intake experience that includes both the initial intake and the investigation at point of intake; can assist claimant in finding a physician.

● Processes incoming calls, faxes and voicemails from claimants, providers, clients, attorneys, etc., resolving their claims related questions and issues in accordance with designed guidelines and policies.

● Completes outbound calls to claimants, providers, clients and attorneys regarding medical reports, bill requests, return to work, medical authorization reports, etc.

● Communicates claims status and current claim activity; responds to inquiries about jurisdiction and claim specific issues.

● Inputs newly reported claims and updates to claims into system(s), ensures claim files are properly documented and coding is correct.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Four (4) years of administrative and/or customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

● Excellent oral and written communication skills

● PC literate, including Microsoft Office products

● Strong investigation and organizational skills

● Good interpersonal skills

● Excellent negotiation skills

● Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently

● Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

Important Information:

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a credit and criminal background check, and obtain and maintain confidential-level security clearance upon hire. We participate in the United States Federal Government E-Verify program to confirm the employment authorization of employee upon hire.
