In this role, your primary responsibility is to oversee all repossession activities for the company. You must possess a strong understanding of the consumer finance industry and have the ability to develop and drive new processes with efficiency in a centralized operations environment while adhering to company policy, state, and federal regulations. This role also works closely with internal Heights Finance recovery teams, third party collection agencies, legal firms and oversees repossession agencies. Responsibilities:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based on the U.S. average. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
All full-time salaried employees are also eligible for the following benefits: Flexible Paid Time Off Program, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Disability, and other voluntary coverages.

- Manage relationship with and repossession requests from company branches and Repossession vendors
- Oversee and approve all repossession requests from the branch network
- Ensure proper title and document transfers occur from branch for repo activity accurately and timely
- Track and report progress for all repossession activity
- Oversee and processes all invoicing related to repossession vendors and auctions
- Audit repossessed inventory to ensure proper fee itemization and system statuses are applied
- Verify all repossession sale proceeds are allocated properly to customer’s account
- Track deficiency balances and collaborates with Heights’ legal and recovery teams to payoff balances
- Manage all accounting for overages to ensure proper refund to the consumer of excess funds
- Manage Third party relationships (Repossession Companies, Auctions and Collection Agencies)
- Maintain a master spreadsheet of all repossession inventory
- Oversee all work done by Heights Finance Repossession Specialists.
- Minimum educational requirement of college degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of state laws related to vehicle recovery, including legal action remedies
- Previous people management experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently
- Consistent and above average work ethic
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
Base Salary: $62,000 - $78,000
