Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Requirements Manager will be responsible for identifying the necessary requirements of processes and products and coordinate the implementation of them into our existing environment.
- Continual QMS System review to ensure Royal’s system follows AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
- Review and document customer specifications for facility and process or part compliance. Work with other team members to identify and close gaps to ensure compliance.
- Review documentation and planning of processes for new and existing product.
- Identify gaps and coordinate with other teams to continually improve while maintaining compliance.
- Review and approve new and existing planning sheets to determine compliance to customer requirements.
- Approve final plans and processes and verify that all gaps in processes have been identified, addressed, and corrected effectively.
- Track and maintain approvals (Submit and Retrieve) for production planners, variances and similar items.
- Perform contract review of new and existing contracts as needed.
- Lead Royal’s internal and external audits to ensure compliance with governing and customer specifications.
- Work special projects as needed (Corrective Actions, Bid and Proposals, New Part Onboarding)
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual, and reliable attendance as set by the supervisor according to handbook guidelines consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
· Abide by all safety, quality, personnel, and other policies as applicable.
Marginal Work Requirements:
· Specification testing per customer and certification requirements.
· Perform other duties as assigned for the good of the department and company.
· Be actively engaged in the department’s 6-S program and complete all necessary paperwork.
Work Qualifications:
· Formal education & experience: A minimum of an undergraduate degree or a minimum of 2 years’ experience with aerospace specification requirements, or a combination of both.
· Computer Skills: Must be able to use basic computer operations relative to data entry and ERP system.
· Certificates and Licenses: None required.
Professional Competencies:
· Knowledge of all areas of processes and facilities to determine needs and facilitate the planning and improvement plans to successfully meet compliance.
· Possess excellent communication skills with inter-department members, customers, suppliers, and regulatory officials.
· Ability to identify, organize and execute a documented improvement plan and the team members best suited to execute a successful plan.
· Create a process for effective change control, which include notification, review, observation, and approval of the change.
· Strong personal relationships with production, sales, and engineering.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
