Position Focus:
The primary duties will be:
1. Perform some laboratory benchwork processing human blood and working with babesia culture systems. 2. Organize and summarize data from database and computer files; creates tables. 3. Assure data integrity. 4. Develop or assist the investigators with HIC/IRB protocols for submission. 5. Assist in data collection, coding, collection, and mailing of any bio-specimens based on the study protocols and in collaboration with the investigators. 6. Serve as the primary contact among investigators, vendors, IRB and funding agencies. 7. Monitor and ensure adherence to all human subject research regulations of all investigators and good clinical practice guidelines, and prepare monitoring reports. 8. Identify vendors and negotiate contracts for research related services. 9. Coordinate research activities with research collaborators and organizes face to face and virtual meetings and conference calls. 10. Organizes laboratory space, freezers, refrigerators.
