Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform molecular based techniques such as DNA extractions, RNA extractions, rtPCR, & qPCR in a regulated laboratory setting
• Perform ELISA assays and other cell-based assays
• Provide hands-on technical support to all sample processes including, sample testing, data analysis, cell staining, cell sorting, logging samples, receiving samples, and documenting study sample outcomes
• Perform laboratory maintenance such as maintaining and calibrating equipment and ordering laboratory supplies
• Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Organize and document experiments, genetic designs, and data
• Present results in platform team and company-wide meetings
• The research assistant will be an integral member of the team in the design, implementation of the experiments and interpretation of data results

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Biology related field
• Master of Science in Biology related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of industry laboratory experience
• Previous experience with molecular laboratory techniques needed
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
