Earn $19.81 hour!

Immediate supervisor of staff providing direct service to individuals. Provides communication, supervision, and training to staff. Responsible for the daily operation of a specified living arrangement including insuring adequate staff are available to provide on-going active treatment and facilitate the provision of daily living skills for the individuals served. Responsible to ensure compliance, actual and documented, with Federal, State, Local, and Organizational standards by assuring the staff and specified living area are operated with integrity, safety, and quality consistent with the core values of Merakey. Directs and Assists Direct Support Professionals in a labor environment. May perform direct care in the event of identified need. Performs other related duties as required.

• Provides personal care, instruction, guidance, mentoring, companionship and support, often across a 24-hour period, according to the individual's Person-Centered Plan/Individual Support Plan (ISP).
• Provides a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity, and contentment of every consumer served.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 1 year of experience working with individuals with an intellectual and developmental disabilities diagnosis including those with comorbidities to include physical and other challenges.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience in the Human Services field can be considered.
• Supervisory experience
• Valid driver's license
