With more than 40HD TV’s, an amazing sound system, fantastic menu and a caring dedicated staff Jake n Joes has become the place to watch a game or just come in and relax with friends and family. Currently there are 5 Jake n Joes; Waltham, Foxboro & Norwood, Woburn and in Braintree, MA. With additional sites currently being considered Jake n Joes offers great growth opportunities for the right candidates!

We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor who can motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Restaurant Supervisor responsibilities include working the floor, ensure efficient restaurant operations, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need previous full-service restaurant experience (_i.e._: Bartender, Server, Host, Supervisor). We want to teach you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity and support staff. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will help the Manager on Duty to ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences. A great opportunity to grow into management.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer inquires
  • Learn to organize and supervise shifts
  • Learn to comply with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
  • Help promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
  • Help train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Server/Waiter, Bartender, Host, Supervisor or similar role
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and POSI is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, leadership, motivational and people skills
  • TIPS Certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
