Onsite Restoration Foreman Job Description

Summary

The Restoration Foreman is responsible for managing crews in new and existing commercial buildings under the direction of the Superintendent/Project Manager. Responsible for being the point of contact between the crew and supervisors and construction site contact.

Essential Functions

- Schedule Material deliveries to job sites
- Schedule materials deliveries on site when possible otherwise order material as needed but to coincide with monthly billings
- Schedule and Manage job site manpower; keep up with weekly manpower schedules.
- Set expectations of productivity daily; set expectations of quality daily
- Scope of work reviews/precons with job site personnel
- Review Safety Procedures and follow through.
- Daily Job hazard analysis JHA’s (Job Foreman) Super/PM verifies this is being done daily
- Inspect project and all access – swings and etc., prior to scheduling crews to verify project scope is ready for production.
- Train all installers for proper installation for each product prior to starting project, also train them to inspect for quality control.
- Keep all daily records up to date on our electronic job files emails. Keep all photos uploaded and shared with PM.
- Communicate with office operation managers daily weekly.
- Demonstrate successful completion of paperwork required on a typical commercial construction project (i.e. electronic daily reports, safety tool box talks, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Maintain a safe working environment. This includes ALL PPE and ensuring a safe workspace for not only Alpha, but other trades in our work area.

Education and/or Experience

- 3+ years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience with concrete repair, non-load bearing wall demolition and repair, plumbing, painting.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather and job site conditions, which may include air borne particles, vibration, fumes and high places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
