Farrow and Ball – Retail Project Coordinator, Tri-State NA

We are currently looking for a driven individual to join our Sales team in Northern America as a Retail Project Coordinator. We are offering this position on a full-time basis, working remotely/hybrid.

As the Retail Project Coordinator, you will be supporting the Head of Central Retail Operations and the Head of Market to ensure the successful management of the global retail property portfolio. The role is responsible for leading property projects, planning and scheduling annual maintenance programmes and supplier management.

What we expect from you as a Retail Project Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all property projects to ensure quality control through works management, timelines, snagging, budget control and stakeholder liaison
  • Project manage all activities relating to new showroom openings or relocations, to include property surveys, planning and permitting, schematic design, critical path oversight and contractor management
  • Project manage the refurbishment programme in line with the global design specification.
  • Manage documentation around key property projects including lease renewals to ensure clear responsibility matrix, global consistency and accurate record keeping.
  • Support the Head of Central Retail Operations with the co-ordination and delivery of key business projects and represent the commercial function where required, communicating effectively with retail management in all project updates
  • Work with the Head of Department to ensure that all Showroom operate as efficiently as possible
  • Lead all showroom maintenance and refurbishment works, to include liaison with 3rd party suppliers, communications, invoice tracking and business reporting
  • Work closely with the Health & Safety team to co-ordinate and document H & S and compliance activity and reporting for the NA market, supported by the Retail Property Co-ordinator.
  • Support the Retail Property Co-ordinator with the smooth day to day running of the office, to include administration, budget delivery, contacts management and internal communications
  • Administration and control using Capex process and IFS ERP system

Key Attributes:

  • Project management experience
  • Experience of working with Commercial Property an advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to flag risks
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Microsoft Office applications and use of other business systems and databases a distinct advantage
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Understanding and experience of retail operations and processes
  • Health & Safety training an advantage
