Position:

Mike the Hatter is a family-owned and operated, men's & women's fashion retail establishment in the city of Cleveland since 1937. After 40 years in downtown Cleveland, we moved to Broadview Heights in 2012 and now we're back downtown and looking to expand our current sales force! We are seeking candidates that are able to complement and create a store environment that is fun and exciting for our customers and other team members. Prior cash-handling, retail, phone/website sales & service and in-store customer service experience is a plus. Flexible schedules are a must and able to work weekends and early evenings. Knowledge of head-wear helpful, but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

-Working directly with a master haberdasher and learning a hands-on skill

-Customer Service on phone and in-store

-Teamwork oriented with an ability to work in a learning environment

-Strong sense of pride & responsibility

Skills:

-Enjoy connecting with customers and demonstrating an enthusiastic and positive attitude

-Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and quickly learning new procedures

-Ability to work a flexible schedule, including morning, early-evening and some weekends

-Fundamental computer skills

-Packaging/Shipping experience is a plus for internet based sales

Position(s) would be part-time with possibility for full-time advancement for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Cleveland, OH 44115: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
