Not your average retail store! We are a female owned and operated nature shop. We specialize in the hobby of backyard bird watching and feeding. We have an easy going, comfortable work environment and customers that are enthusiastic about birds and genuinely lovely to interact with.

Our store hours are very ideal for candidates: 9a-5p each day except for Sunday (11a-3p). We are closed on holidays. Work attire is a store provided t-shirt/polo and your choice of jeans, slacks, shorts (etc).

This position will require weekend hours.

Hours for this position will be between 12-30 hours/week depending on time of year/business needs.

Applicants must:

- Have retail, hospitality, or food service experience.

- Be comfortable using computers and familiar with POS Systems. This is an absolute requirement and candidates without this skill will not be considered.

- Be able to lift 20lbs with ease as assisting our customers to their vehicles with their purchases is a pillar of our service.

- Be friendly and enthusiastic with customers at all times.

- Have a "we will figure it out" attitude. If customers have questions, we find the answers or do our absolute best to. If we don't have a product they are looking for, we make suggestions or offer to try to get it in. We personalize our customer service!

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
