Ira Green, Inc. is looking to fill a vacancy on our field sales team for an Officers' Equipment Company (Marine Corps insignia) merchandiser at MCB Quantico, VA. We contract independent, detail-oriented professionals with great communication skills to partner with us at AAFES and Marine Corps Exchange locations worldwide. This is a flexible1099 contract position.

From our state-of-the-art facilities in Providence, RI, Buena Vista, VA and Bally, PA, we employ over 300 employees who manufacture and distribute the uniform items, tactical gear, coins, and accoutrements earned and displayed proudly by our military personnel. We have a strong team of field sales representatives serving our military bases on site with full support from our corporate offices in Providence, RI.

Description:

Part-Time Sales Representative - 1099 Contract

Approximate work load: ~20 hours weekly (additional hours during ball season, Sept-Nov)

Starting Pay: $18+

Job Summary:

In this position you will manage stock assortments with our corporate office, stock merchandise, conduct inventories and build relationships with managers to ensure the needs of our Exchange stores are met or exceeded. You will work independently to meet the needs of their store locations with a flexible schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Maintain a professional working rapport with store management.

· Keep sales floor stocked and maintain organized backstock; identify and adjust over and understocked items with corporate office.

· Become familiar with military insignia and assist management in determining need of new/varied items; present new items to store management as they become available.

· Facilitate special order items and assist customers as needed.

· Use company provided tablet for stock assortment management.

· Work directly with Area Manager to identify merchandise needs within existing locations or other locations not currently stocking our merchandise.

· Strive to exceed expectations of store management.

· Follow base regulations at all times and retain a professional appearance and attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to use tablet/iPad

· Base access or ability to obtain legal base access

· Strong communication, organizational and time management skills

· Professional experience exhibiting your ability to work independently with minimal oversight

· Previous professional vendor, retail, or customer service experience preferred

· Occasionally be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
