The Store Manager's primary focus will be to lead and manage the development of the retail store (Century City) and retail associates. This role is accountable for retail operations, development of retail teams, inventory compliance, visual merchandising and scheduling. The Store Manager shall work closely with the General Manager, Retail Manager and HQ business partners to set business objectives including financial targets, customer experience strategy, retention, payroll and operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandise standards to ensure consistency and alignment with Company's vision.


Job Description

Business Performance Management

  • Monitor, analyze and report on sales performance as well as the well-being of the team members.
  • Make informed decisions based on data that will lead to increased sales opportunities and brand awareness.
  • Consistently drive and motivate leadership and store teams to achieve and exceed individual sales goals and key retail store metrics.
  • Set and monitor and identify opportunities to maximize sales, traffic flow, and retail floor coverage through proper scheduling and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities in product, sales, and team development and strategically present ideas.
  • Work closely with Retail Manager to develop a multi-year, multi-store and business strategy to further grow all aspects of the business.

Team Development

  • Assist in leading recruiting efforts for all retail associate positions along with the Retail Manager.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, and on-going training of existing staff members with HR and Retail Manager.
  • Lead team building, coaching, training and development modules of all retail teams to ensure sales objectives, staff are experts in product knowledge, provide exceptional customer service, and meet CASETiFY brand standards.
  • Set performance goals and objectives-MBO for retail teams.
  • Develop growth plans to cultivate and support professional growth for high-potential talents.
  • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner while being resolution-oriented.

Operational Execution

  • Optimize and oversee retail operations to ensure sales and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure an understanding throughout the team of best sellers, and build an operational framework for ensuring they are in stock and remain a focus point.
  • Assist Retail Manager with the global production and business planning manager to forecast inventory, seasonal/annual merchandising plans to ensure that all stores have the correct product assortment and product availability.
  • Oversee the internal/external team for sourcing, implementation, and troubleshooting of store software/IT tools with the global retail team.
  • Manage day to day scheduling, maintain store operation and environment.
  • Manage inventory movement/compliance to ensure the accurate and timely processing of transfers, consolidations, returns, receiving, and POS transactions.
  • Oversee all store operations, including customer transactions, stock control and inventory
  • Analyze sales results, verifying daily, weekly, monthly activities and set up yearly KPI assessments along with US Retail Managers and Corporate.
  • Implement action plans to achieve sales target and perform to P&L.

Community Building

  • Work with the marketing and operations team to ensure retail presence aligns to our company's value and culture, products, brand image and target community.
  • Lead a team of store managers towards effective collaboration and execution of business goals. Reinforce company standards and policies and hold staff accountable in partnership with corporate.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer and employee issues and complaints.
  • Communicate business results, store needs, opportunities and partner with regional and HQ business partners on solutions to further grow and increase overall sales and brand awareness.

Total Compensation: 401(k), Dental, Vision, Medical, Paid Time Off, Base salary range: $75,000 ~ 85,000

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in high volume, retail management or related industry experience.
  • Experienced in multi-store management and store opening training, with accountability for both sales and cost/profit metrics (i.e. payroll, supplies, etc)
  • Awareness of retail business and market trends that relate to the success of the store and brand.
  • Excellent project management and effective communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service
  • Previous experience in scheduling part-time and full-time retail associates
  • Willing to work in a high-growth, fast moving start-up culture.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Willing to be agile, adaptable, flexible, and collaborative
  • Working knowledge of corporate tools such as MS Office, G-docs, sheets and employee tracking systems
