Transfer Station Thrift Store LLC is partnered with the County of Hawai'i to divert usable items from ending up in the landfill. Reusable items are donated to our Reuse Center locations, at the Transfer Station and then sold to the public for a significantly discounted rate.

We are hiring for a full-time and part-time Reuse Center Attendant position at our Kea'au & Hilo locations. The primary focus of a Reuse Center Attendant is to receive, process and sell donated items. We would ideally like a candidate who can work between our Hilo & Kea 'au sites. Reliable transportation is a necessity.

Pay starts at $15.00 an hour with the opportunity for a raise at 90 days, 6 months, and yearly after. Health Insurance is offered to our full-time employees. After 1 year with TSTS, 3 days of paid vacation are offered. Employees who are hired and maintain employment for 60 days qualify for a $100 bonus.
