Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Risk Manager III to join our team in supporting a large US Government program in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The Risk Manager III is responsible for conducting risk assessments, collecting, and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends.
- The Risk Manager III establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization’s services and departments.
- The Risk Manager III reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols, makes recommendations, and implements modifications and improvements.
- The Risk Manager III recommends and implements risk management solutions, such as security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
- The Risk Manager III drafts and presents Risk Reports and proposals to executive program leadership and senior program staff to include management of the Risk Management Board.
- The Risk Analyst III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience with a MS/MA degree, nine (9) years of experience with a BS/BA degree, minimum of eleven (11) years of experience with an Associate’s degree, and a minimum of thirteen (13) years of experience with a HS diploma.
- Experience with project management, specifically managing schedules and risk.
- Experience supporting Federal acquisition programs.
- Experience with implementing risk management processes, tools, and reporting.
- Knowledge of risk management coordination across stakeholders to draft risk statements, validate impacts of risks, and present in PowerPoint and dashboard.
- Ability to identify, track, and monitor risk, and develop Risk Mitigation Plans in accordance with risk management principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Clearance Requirements:
- Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Use of computers and an ability for productivity in a government office environment within the APG
- Ability to travel within the APG to visit various physical customer locations.
