Vital Healthcare, Inc. is currently accepting applications for its RN/LVN - School Nurse Roles - (1-on-1 Student Care) roles in Temple City, CA.

Responsibilities:

As a Vital Healthcare, Inc. RN/LVN - School Nurse Roles - (1-on-1 Student Care) staff, you will play a key role in expanding Vital’s clinical operations within the local community. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide health services to students with special healthcare needs
• Implement specialized healthcare procedures such as blood sugar testing, insulin administration, catheterization, blood pressure, oral suction, gastrostomy tube feedings, seizure procedures, turning and lifting routines, assistive apparatus, etc.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients
• Maintain meticulous records of confidential patient information
• Ensure compliance with all infection control protocols

Qualifications:

• Weekday (M-F) availability is an absolute requirement
• Strong attention to detail, superior work ethic and integrity, and interpersonal skills
• High level of energy and professionalism with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required
• Ability to handle behavioral issues

License Required (One of the following):

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Compensation:

Compensation ranges from $30 per hour to $40 per hour.
