As the Sales Account Specialist, you will partner with Sales Account Managers/Executive Account Managers in producing quotes per customers specifications and product selections, understanding comparisons and competitive analysis, providing account support, and customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide technical assistance to customers, engineers, contractors and internal sales team in the selection and application of products sold.
- Provide assistance to customers, dealers, contractors, and engineers in the pricing of products and develop price quotations in writing where appropriate.
- Work closely with engineering and manufacturing in the design and development of products according to special customer requirements.
- Provide input on product literature, submittals, and CAPS development on new product offerings.
- Prepare, submit, and manage orders for customers through the Greenheck Computer Aided Production Selection (CAPS) program.
- Establish and maintain accounts which may include a variety of end customers and/or dealers, national accounts.
- Work with the proper engineering/manufacturing personnel to correct any problems in a timely fashion to eliminate future problems with products sold.
- Evaluate product offerings as they relate to quality, reliability and performance and the products ability to meet the needs of the customer. Advise engineering and purchasing as to changes to the product that may be required to meet the needs of the customer.
- Become technically familiar with competitive products through catalogs, submittals drawings, and websites to be able to assist in the selection and application of products.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience
- Between 1-3 years of additional related work experience is required.
- AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or other design software experience is strongly preferred
Business Unit Specific Responsibilities:
- Management of pending order status and attention to on-site date requirements is vital.
- Build internal and external, sustainable trust relationships through open interactive communications. (Effective listening, communications and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and deadlines).
- Crosstrain in the areas of CAPS, RFI, RFQ, CRM, DocuWare, database management and order entry.
- Support projects and customers for strategic partnership account management team.
- Coordinate and manage documentation for customer accounts.
- Extensive interaction with external customers via phone, email, mail, or social media, providing exemplary customer service. (Facilitating orders from inception to shipment, as well as Pre-Sale and Post-Sale support is required).
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Persuasive sales personality and financial acumen are highly desired.
