Sales Development Representative

As a Mavan Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will be in charge of building a pipeline of qualified prospects and generating new business for the Business Development team. SDRs are expected to manage their own pipeline of leads while working with a manager or Account Executive to close new business.

About You:

You are motivated, work well in a remote position and are excited about the prospect of being part of a talented growing team. You work well with others and hold yourself to high standards when it comes to hitting performance targets. You have experience prospecting, drafting cold sales emails, and are comfortable making cold calls.

Job Duties:

  • Build a solid list of net-new prospects on a daily basis
  • Employ a multi-touch approach to prospecting, that may include cold-calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn messaging, Loom videos, etc.
  • Support sales management team in scheduling meetings, developing targeted messaging strategies for new leads, and nurturing leads through the sales cycle
  • Qualify and nurture new leads via email outreach/ LinkedIn prospecting
  • Qualify inbound leads based on preset criteria
  • Report on weekly activity across all channels
  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities, appointments, and closed deals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 year sales experience preferably in a Sales Development role
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who works well independently
  • Ideally, you have a background in marketing and/or eCommerce
  • Experience using HubSpot CRM, cold email platforms such as Outreach.io, and prospecting tools such as Seamless a plus
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to understand customer pain point and identify potential solutions
