We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional to join our Insurance Sales Training Team! The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience, knowledge of sales processes, and a solid understanding of what makes a sale successful. Prior Insurance background is preferred but is not required.
**This is a work from home opportunity; however, candidates must live within our territory**

The primary duties of the Agency Sales Development Specialist are to:

  • Facilitate all Insurance Sales Training Programs virtually and in-person for both new and experienced agents to increase competency and improve production results.
  • Contribute to the creation, updating, and distribution of training material in video and print formats.
  • Facilitate Coaching Program, to include Outbound Calling and Field Prospecting Training sessions, utilization of call scripting, role play, and other interactive training methods to improve sales skills.
  • Coach individuals to put learned principles and processes into action in practical ways, evaluate progress, and follow up
  • Monitor and evaluate participation and activity to determine actions needed in presentation and expectation-setting, in and out of classroom setting
  • Assess learning effectiveness through creation, disbursement, and follow-ups on evaluations.
  • Maintains a resource library AAAU and The Clubhouse of technical and procedural materials specific to the business line sales.
  • Establishes a system for communication throughout the business line and across the Learning network. Utilizes different methods of communication to reinforce message and its consistency.
  • Designs and develops associate learning plans associated with the introduction and support of sales and retention standards results.
  • Provide reporting, manage effectiveness of current operational process, develop and implement improvements.
  • Coordinate sales training schedules for all attendees.
  • Protect and maintain account files and department records in accordance with the Agency and Carrier regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance sales, products and coverages preferred.
  • Experience creating and conducting sales training with an emphasis on outbound sales activities.
  • Experience creating and successfully managing a sales coaching and mentoring program.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously; maintaining progress on deadlines and meeting project goals.
  • Motivated, energetic and experienced in improving the competency of a sales team.
  • Superior presentation skills.
  • Expertise in effective training and coaching methods and Adult Learning Theory.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to facilitate multiple learning platforms including via web, classroom and one on one.
