Gunk Haus is looking for Sautee Chef / Hot Line Cook. This is a permanent, year-round position. Your schedule can be part-time - Friday, Saturday & Sundays; but if you are interested in full-time you could also pick-up Wednesday & Thursday nights. We are looking for someone with experience who can manage a busy hot line. We need an experienced cook -- a real range jockey. Great work environment, well-treated, friendly staff, no drama. And yes, we pay over-time!! If you enjoy a fast-paced kitchen where your killer skills are appreciated, we want you!

Gunk Haus is a German gastropub located in Clintondale, New York, just 5 minutes from New Paltz / exit 18. We serve thoughtfully prepared comfort food made from carefully sourced ingredients. We are seasonal when we can, local when possible, and as organic as sensible. We have a fast-paced kitchen, but we also care about quality. We make everything from scratch, and we like to pair it with great beer. We have been well reviewed in the New York Times, the Boston Globe, Hudson Valley magazine, Hudson Valley Edible magazine, Chronogram, on Zagats and Yelp, and in several local newspapers.
