Job Title: Saw Operator

Reports To: Manufacturing Lead/PIC

Job Summary: The Operator will cut/bend pipe and, also will cut channel, angle.

Functional Job Duties:

• 
  Competent use of hand, bench, and machine operations to perform deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing on machined parts.
• Understanding of and ability to utilize a tape measure, squaring tools, electronic level, calipers, and micrometers.
• Understand tolerances for parts.
• Ability to understand why machines are not a peak performance and how to increase output.
• Accuracy with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements. Perform spot inspections of parts.
• Interpretations of work orders, blueprints, and bills of materials. Complete and maintain paperwork.
• Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum, and regular steel).
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience in a manufacturing setting operations brake/roll press.
• Prior fabrication experience
• Have the ability to read a tape measure.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to go up and down stairs. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to do unaccompanied travel. Must be able to tolerate shop environment and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing, and apply appropriate safety equipment when required. Must be able to work overtime as required. Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
