Job Description: This position has primary responsibility for working with staffing coordinator to determine caregiver skillset, match them with the appropriate client and scheduling services for Assisting Hands®. This position involves extensive telephone work, follow up and interaction with caregivers and clients.
Education: Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred. High School Diploma/GED required, CNA in good standing a plus.
Qualifications: Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Must be well-organized, able to multi-task and have good attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. This position requires at least 2 years of general administrative experience in an office setting; experience in a health care setting is a plus. Must be a good problem solver, demonstrate strong initiative, coachable and have a positive attitude.
Reports to: Administrator/Manager
Primary Duties:
1. Work with Staffing Coordinator and Caregiver Lead to determine caregiver’s skillset
2. Matches appropriate caregivers to client cases based on personality, availability, experience, and skill set
3. Makes sure that all cases are covered and arranges for substitute/back-up coverage as necessary, may be required to fill a shift as back-up
4. Handles/resolves caregiver issues and scheduling changes
5. Tracking attendance or performance issues with caregivers and escalating to Staffing Coordinator
6. Participates in on-call rotation (evening, weekends & holidays)
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday (on call rotating weekends, evenings, holidays)
Salary: $36,000/yr.
Paid Vacation: After 60 days of employment this position is eligible to accrue up to 3 weeks (120 hours) of earned paid time off (PTO), per calendar year
Sick Days: 5 days
Benefits: Bonus based on company performance; No health benefits included at this time; You will be provided with a company laptop, (however it will remain company property and will need to be returned upon separation of employment).
FLSA Status: Salaried exempt
