Become an integral part of our education system by safely assisting with transporting our students to and from school, making it possible for them to develop a higher level of self-sufficiency each day. If you enjoy working around children and young adults, this position provides an opportunity to become a friendly face for the passengers in your community. You will be paired with a seasoned driver during each of your shifts to interact and supervise passengers, creating a smooth, stress-free transportation experience.
The opportunity to choose between lighter hours with summers off, or longer routes and year-round employment, will allow you to best accommodate your busy schedule.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or related experience
- The ability to relate to individuals with special needs, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidates must also have a favorable criminal background check
Hours: Successful candidates have the ability to work Monday – Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Variable hours (20 – 40) per week are available. This is an hourly, per diem school year position. Split shifts are 6 AM - 9:30 AM, 2 PM - 4PM and an occasional mid-day run from 10:45 AM - 12:45 PM.
Compensation: $14 / hour
