The Gist…

The Scrum Master will work closely with the Technical Lead/Project manager to oversee the scrum or agile team, manage the execution of projects, and establish a shared product vision across the team.

What Your Day Might Include…

• Facilitate working session meetings to discuss scope, schedule and requirements with product owners
• Help Product Owner with prioritization, risk management and scope
• Manage product quality, releases & delivery; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
• Conduct all scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives
• Perform continuous and active backlog grooming
• Calculate ongoing team capacity and velocity
• Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members.
• Support managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and help to implement an effective system of project governance.
• Act as a mentor and coach, to ensure development teams work toward the core scrum principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility

You'll Bring These Qualifications...

• 10+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban, supporting Agile efforts
• Coaching, leading, facilitating meetings, holding the team accountable, being accountable for the process and the product
• Providing servant leadership style support to team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience participating in a high performing, highly engaged and motivated team
• Solid experience in incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach
• Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle
• Highly responsible,team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
