Title: Seasonal Deployment Specialist

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Summary:

IP Pathways is experiencing explosive company growth! In fact, we’ve doubled in size over the last couple of years and we’d like to consider you for a position on our growing team! The Seasonal Deployment Specialist is responsible for processing Chromebooks through the White Glove process which includes unpacking, OS system upgrades, domain enrollment, asset tagging, etching and bulk packing Chromebooks in boxes on pallets.

Responsibilities:

• Assists in unpacking Chromebooks from pallets, separating the Chromebook from recycling and trash.
• Performs ChromeOS upgrades on the devices as needed.
• Performs white gloves services on each Chromebook which includes running scripts to join to Wi-Fi and client’s domain.
• Applies asset tag stickers to each device (as requested from client) and scans serial numbers and asset tags of devices.
• Bulk packs Chromebooks on pallets, adding chargers and sealing boxes for shipment.
• Client may request a logo be laser etched into the lid of the laptop which we will perform inhouse.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Computer skills required: Contract Management Systems, Inventory Software, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Software, Imaging Software
• Prior experience supporting a variety of desktop and network applications.
• Computer knowledge and experience.
• Excellent verbal communication.
• Aptitude to learn quickly and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently to manage priorities and workflow yet within company guidelines.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards while maintaining a high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalency

Required Licenses or Certifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license, in good standing
  

Physical Abilities Required:

• Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to stand.
• Frequently required to walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
• Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally works in high, precarious places. Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
• Specialized equipment/machines or vehicles used: hardware deployment van, etcher and pallet stacker (weight 1000 pounds).
