Job Summary:

Hydro is hiring applicants for seasonal summer positions. These positions are responsible for carrying out and completing tasks assigned to them. The tasks would include functions such as general production, cleanup, and painting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely perform manual tasks and general laborer in all areas, and follow safety guidelines and procedures
• Complete all work in a timely fashion to ensure an efficient workflow
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• General housekeeping
• Support floor production operations as necessary
• Must be able to perform a variety of tasks as assigned on a day to day basis
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to read, write, have knowledge of basic mathematics, and ability to read a tape measure
• Physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shift
• Able to attend work on time and as scheduled
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing up to 75lbs
• Must be a student enrolled in an educational program of some type. (ie. High School, College, Trade School, etc.)
• Must be at least 18 years old

Working conditions:

Seasonal summer employees are supervised by the department supervisors. Employees may need to work and communicate with other individuals to understand any potential issues or concerns.

Work is performed in a manufacturing plant environment and or outdoors. Work areas may be hot, humid, dry, and occasionally staged with material used to perform the job.

Payrate: $18.00/ Hour
