Full Time 260 days/8 hrs/day
Work in a collaborative team environment to provide primary support for the student information system (SIS). Primary support for schools and staff access to and utilization of SIS, including but not limited to student enrollments, security, school setup, state reporting, and troubleshooting.
Duties: Responsible for accurate data input of private student, parent, and staff information utilizing a variety of software programs and tools. Provide customer service for schools and users to utilize SIS for enrollments, attendance, discipline, health tracking. Assist in accurate data and error resolution for state reporting requirements (MARSS & Ed-Fi). Provide technical and help desk support and problem resolution in the operation and functionality of computer software applications, primarily SIS. Provide departmental secretarial support and other duties as assigned. Provide professional telephone and written communication with school personnel and district residents-parents and students. Cross-train to support other team members within the department. Other clerical duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, the ability / desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval, good oral and written communication and organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, flexibility, ability / desire to work cooperatively with departments, district staff and public, ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day, must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and the ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building.
Preferred Qualifications: Experienced and proficient in the use of Google Drive, Gmail and Google platform; databases, database applications and shared drives preferred. Student information management experience preferred. Two years’ experience with information systems preferred. Strong aptitude for solving puzzles and troubleshooting problems preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize work perferred.
Rate of pay: $20.55/hour.
Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 194 days per year.
Start Date: 6/30/23.
