SECRETARY III - Rancho Cucamonga
We are seeking a Secretary for our field office located in Ranch Cucamonga, CA. This position reports directly to the Field Director and provides overall administrative support to the Rancho Cucamonga field office.
The California School Employees Association represents over 250,000 school employees who work in 750 school districts in California. They provide support services to school children as para-educators, administrators, food service, bus drivers, nurses, and skilled employees in grounds, maintenance and operations. Examples of duties and responsibilities :
- Provide excellent customer service to members and staff
- Coordinates and maintains effective office procedures and work flow
- Composes correspondence
- Create and maintain databases, reports, and spreadsheets
- Maintain office filing and record systems
- Assist visitors and telephone callers
- Operates all office equipment
- Coordinates administrative and expense forms and forwards for approval and processing
Ability to:
- Remain calm under pressure
- Work effectively with people at all levels
- Handle information with discretion
- Work and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Communicate and write clearly and concisely
- Work independently with attention to detail
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Three (3) years experience in an administrative role
- Experience emphasizing customer service
- Proficiency in MS Office 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility, high initiative, attention to detail
- High school education, college degree preferred
The salary range for the Secretary III is $56,600 - $70,118. Starting salaries are typically at the first step on our salary range, although consideration may be given for candidates with exceptional qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include 18 paid holidays, 3 weeks vacation, medical benefits for you and your family, life insurance coverage, a pension plan and a 401(k) plan.
