Compass Security provides the best quality service to our customers. Our Unarmed Security Professionals must be drug free, physically fit, reliable, professional, and client focused. We are looking for the best in the industry.
We are seeking professional individuals for both Full Time and Part Time Unarmed Officers in the Portland area and are hiring for our REI account in Downtown Portland. This position will work with one other standard service security professional and an enhanced service security professional onsite.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional and organized appearance
- Committed, reliable work ethic
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to stand / walk for 8 hours
Other attributes = premium pay include:
- Former or current military, law enforcement or certified security professionals
- Ability to work weekends, evenings or on call as needed

TYPICAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Job site duties as listed in the post orders
- Ensuring the safety and security of the REI parking lot in Downtown Portland
- Scanning tour tags with the company provided site phone
- Respond to emergency situations
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:
- Must have a current DPSST Unarmed certification.
- Must have a reliable means of communication
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen, physical and background investigation.
