Summary:
QSI, Inc., a banking equipment installation & service company, is looking for an Alarm Security Installer Technician. This full time position is based in the Bardstown, KY area but may require limited overnight travel to surrounding areas. The primary role of this position is to help install security banking equipment (e.g. alarms, CCTV, Access Control). A QSI vehicle is provided for travel to and from job sites. This position requires some overtime and overnight travel during the work week.

Familiarity with Verex, March, Verient, DMP in banking applications a plus! Other duties include:

• Perform Prewire installations.
• Provide frontline technical support to on-site customers by diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, & system issues.
• Perform upgrades and repairs.
• Perform equipment installations and programming.

Job Requirements

• Ability to ride in a truck long distances which require overnight stays.
• Ability to sit and stand for continuous period of time.
• Ability to push/pull 75+ pounds.

Candidates must possess:

• Ability to interact with clients in a positive and professional manner.
• Ability to communicate and explain job details with the installation team.
• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:

• Alarm System & Access Control Technicians: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
