Home Care Assistance is now staffing cases in Bryn Mawr and Conshocken, PA

The Live-In case requires at least 5 years experience as a live-in caregiver. Position will include companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation (of client preferred meals), playing games, and taking the client on long walks. Caregiver must be able to stay at clients home for at least 10 days in a row, without a break.

Caregiver must have a car to go to purchase groceries, to go on outings and to accompany client to Dr's appointments.

The hourly client has 8 hour day shifts for both weekdays and weekends. This position includes companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transfer experience.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist client with Activities of Daily Living: Personal Care (bathing/grooming); Meal Preparation; Medication Reminders; Laundry/Light Housekeeping.
• Work one-on-one with the client, enhancing their quality of life.
• Provide transfers and gait assistance, as required
• Assist client with walking and exercise, as needed
• Must have own car, and be willing to drive client to appointments.
• Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds.

We’re looking to hire the best caregivers, who have:

• Minimum 2-years of caregiving experience preferred
• These clients require COVID-vaccinated caregivers.
• Experience caring for clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia, as needed.
• Experience with client transfers (bed to wheelchair).
• Passionate about caregiving and helping others.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Current 2 step PPD, Quentiferon gold or chest x-ray
• Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.

You must be available to come into the office for an in-person interview and orientation training. The home care industry is regulated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
