Cvent’s Global Demand Center (GDC)is seeking a passionate, data-driven marketing professional to join our team, the Audience Management Team. Our ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker that is team-oriented, with a positive attitude and genuine interest in learning something new each day. Understanding marketing funnel and campaigns will also lead to success in this role.

In this role on the Audience Management Team, the Audience Insights Analyst will be analyzing campaign performance and funnel conversion to provide recommendations/insights that can improve our outbound targeting strategy across channels like email, web, and digital platforms. What campaigns/offers convert the best? What industry do we see the most engagement in? Should we vary our messaging by different titles, regions, etc.? These are all questions we use our data to answer and improve conversion.

This role will also help in improving our operational processes and help build documentation& training that can increase the understanding of data we have available for the marketing org across our global offices.

In This Role, You Will::
  • Target Audience Insights
    • Analyze our customer profiles to define our target audience for outbound marketing campaigns (email, digital platform targeting, calling list and direct mail programs)
    • Use both qualitative and quantitative methods to identify trends/changes to audience activity and analyze results of marketing programs to inform what’s “working” vs. “not working” to drive more leads into the funnel and increase conversion down the funnel
    • Translate data and findings into viable business recommendations via presentations, reports, and trainings
  • Audience Data Fluency and Training
    • Improve our internal and external training documentation to help marketing better understand what data points/information is available to define our audiences and what best practices there are for targeting
    • Host trainings and office hours to help answer questions from our marketing stakeholders about day-to-day campaigns
    • Maintain our internal “Cvent Wiki” with up-to-date documentation, links, and definitions
    • Help improve the segmentation ability we have in Marketo (our marketing automation/email tool)
  • Campaign Operations Management–for Audience Management Team
    • Support our India team counterparts in addressing questions/issues as they come up to ensure we meet our campaign deadlines
    • Monitor our campaign operations and identify areas to improve the processes and decrease time spent
    • Coordinate with other teams/stakeholders on optimizing our campaign operations including, but not limited to, the Email Marketing Team, Cloud Stakeholders, Marketing Operations, etc
Here's What You Need::
  • 0-3+ years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, sales operations, or demand generation.
  • Fair understanding of marketing platforms like Marketo, Salesforce and other CRM systems
  • Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially demonstrated knowledge of Pivot Tables in Excel.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in work or internships: the ability to work with stakeholders to finalize requirements, create project plans, and to work with multiple business/technical stakeholders to establish, communicate, and meet agreed-upon deadlines.

  • Exposure to enterprise-grade database systems and/or ability to write SQL queries to carry out data analyses
