Fortitude-Re is looking for an experienced HR Workday Systems expert who will deliver high quality, reliable results. This role can be based in our Jersey City, NJ or Nashville, TN offices on a hybrid schedule.
What You Will Do:
- Develop, implement, and maintain business processes and other configuration within the Workday modules including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Talent Management, Performance, Absence, Benefits and its related policies and procedures.
- Provide support, development and/or guidance to HR and other entities within the organization.
- Support organizational initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external groups to configure and optimize our Workday build to meet client needs.
- Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity Create/modify functional and technical systems documentation.
- Assist in maintaining API and ISU accounts.
- Coordinates/develops Workday configuration in accordance with HR policy and identifies/recommends release features to enhance the Workday ecosystem.
- Responsible for developing/implementing Workday HCM module configuration using system development lifecycle processes and best practices.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and interact with team members at all levels Work independently.
- Interface with systems analysts and users to ensure that configuration concepts/requirements meet the needs of end users within the organization.
- Recommend, implement, and plan for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the Workday system.
- 7+ years of directly related HRIS and Workday experience.
- At least 2 end to end implementation including one Greenhouse and 1 AMS experience.
- Advanced analytical and functional skills evidenced by playing a role in projects or in a support environment.
- Workday Recruiting Certification or at least Workday HCM Certification
- Exposure to the maintenance and enhancement of HR Systems (post go-live)
- Exposure to the deployment of HR Systems (Ideally Workday or alternatively, PeopleSoft, Oracle or similar applications)
- Familiarity with Insurance and Finance data domains, SAP or equivalent ERP platforms, and HR/Corporate data/systems
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Exposure to Cloud Data Services (AWS, Azure)
- Bachelor's Degree in IT preferred
